BARNSLEY based Naylor Group has been awarded the prestigious Connect Yorkshire ‘Large Business’ Award as it continues its transformation from a loss-making company in the 1990s to a £70-million business which has invested £18-million in its manufacturing facilities in the last two years alone.

With a focus on people-first leadership and supporting the local communities which it serves, Naylor has delivered strong sales growth via people development, product innovation, ongoing investment and its commitment to delivering high quality, sustainable products for the civils, building and wider construction sectors.

This achievement comes just weeks after the company, a fourth-generation family owned business, won the coveted ‘Business of the Year’ award at the Barnsley and Rotherham Business Awards.

Founded in 1890, Naylor Group employs 350 people and operates seven factories, three of which are based in Barnsley.
