The Athena Leadership Model, developed through a grant from the Kellogg Foundation, identifies eight distinct attributes reflective of women’s contribution to leadership. The Sheffield City Region Athena Leadership Exchange, founded by Jackie Freeborn, aims to deliver this model through a network of inspiration, advocacy and learning; preparing women to be successful leaders in the 21st Century.
Naylor’s Bridie Warner-Adsetts spoke at the event about her experience of advocacy and how it shaped her personal and professional life. Also attending from Naylor were Liz Hudston, Helen Jowitt, Jade Terry, Julie Cull and Gisela Herrera who helped make guests welcome at Naylor’s new Head Office in Wombwell, Barnsley.
The Eight Facets of the Athena Leadership Model:
- Living Authentically
- Learning Constantly
- Advocating Fiercely
- Acting Courageously
- Fostering Collaboration
- Building Relationships
- Giving Back
Athena is open to women and men who wish to develop their leadership capability or share their leadership story with others. If you identify with the Leadership Model and want to know more about joining Athena and attending future events, please email email@example.com
