Naylor are pleased to announce the acquisition of AMCO Plastics
We are very pleased to announce that on Friday 5 July our largest acquisition to date completed, Wath-on-Dearne based plastic extrusion business Amco Plastics Ltd which has a turnover of £4.4m and which employs 40 people.

Amco, is a long-established, profitable and well-run business with a wide product offering. The company was initially set up to supply ventilation ducting to the domestic mining and tunneling industries and this activity continues today: its flexible duct products are used in air conditioning, the extraction of hazardous materials and portable heating devices.
Recent decades have seen Amco diversify into plastic extrusions, and the company now has 9 extrusion lines offering both rigid and flexible tubes and profiles including cable fillers and floor profiles. The company also offers laminating, slotting and abrasive surface treatment services.
Amco’s diversity – it supplies a wide range of sectors including the leisure, cable, flooring, DIY, mining and tunneling sectors – complements our Tipton operation. The business will remain on its current site in Wath and will trade as a division of our Specialist Plastics business which trebles in size on the back of this acquisition.
Amco Plastics Ltd’s former joint MD Chris Simon will continue to work with Naylor, supporting John Grice, who will be MD of the combined business; John will oversee the integration of Amco.
