Global Manufacturing Event – Sheffield 2013

As part of our on-going commitment to future generation skills, Naylor Apprentices took part in this year’s Get up to Speed event during the Global Manufacturing Festival where they did Naylor proud!  The event, which took place in ‘The Blue Shed’ at Ekspan, Sheffield on Wednesday 17th April 2013, was an interactive day aimed at showcasing industry to school children, students and parents, building confidence in engineering and manufacturing as great jobs and careers options.  The event was a fantastic opportunity for our team of young apprentices that work in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Control and Industrial Ceramics, to really shine and demonstrate their, flare, ideas and enthusiasm and they didn’t disappoint. Bridie Warner-Adsetts said “It was a fantastic day. Our apprenticesdelivered the whole thing – planning, designing, building and delivering their exhibit. They represented us wonderfully well and engaged with hundreds of other young people to share their experience of the world of work.
