German British Forum
The German British Forum (GBF) was founded in 1995 to promote education and social exchange between Germany and Britain. The 2015 GBF conference, attended by 200 delegates, was held at Old Trafford on 28 January. This had a particular focus on why family businesses- the so called “Mittelstand”- were more prevalent in Germany than Britain. Edward Naylor was invited to give a presentation on the growth of Naylor; the conference concluded that our long-term investment plans and our international focus made us a good representative of the British “Mittelstand”.
