Bridie Warner-Adsetts speaker at Women in Business dinner

bridie-warner-adsettsBridie Warner-Adsetts, COO of Naylor Industries, was one of the speakers at the recent HSBC Women in Business dinner where she spoke about her experiences of working in industry. During her career she strayed from Engineering into financial management for 10 years before returning to her first love of manufacturing. She’s run, owned, lost, started and saved a number of businesses on three continents. “I was delighted to be asked by Amanda Murphy of HSBC, to speak at the Women in Business Dinner” says Bridie. I wanted to talk about our duty to encourage girls and women into previously male oriented careers such as engineering and manufacturing and it was a pleasure to be able to address an audience of such influential and successful business women.” Bridie who is a member of the Institute of Directors has recently become the third ever lady member of the Company of Cutlers in Hallamshire in its 400 year history so we’re sure she had plenty to say!
