Denduct
The Naylor DENDUCT underground duct system consists of DN100 and 150 vitrified clay plain-end ducts with flexible sleeve couplings and fittings. The Denduct sleeve coupling locates the joint and prevents the ingress of debris. It is not intended to provide a water-tight seal.
Naylor Denduct was specifically developed for the enclosure and protection of underground cables or other services.
Denduct Clay Ducting Advantages
Denduct is rigid and therefore does not distort under loading. The plastic sleeve permits movement at each joint whilst the central annular recess of the coupling allows additional flexibility, thereby accommodating settlement and ground movement. The ducts and couplings are unaffected by chemicals and bacteria normally found in the ground and ground water. Denduct is extremely durable. For design purposes, a limit to the life of a duct system need not normally be considered.
Denduct jointing and laying is a straightforward operation even where multiways are required. Denduct is supplied in easy-to-handle lengths and in conveniently sized packs. Upon request, Denduct can be supplied on a self off-loading vehicle. Where shorter lengths of duct are required, Denduct may be cut on site. The Naylor Pipe Cutter is easy to use, accurate and inexpensive. Sharp edges should be removed with a hammer or by using a purpose made trimmer.
